Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what information TriageKit (“TriageKit”, “we”, “us”) collects and how we use it when you visit triagekit.space, request early access, or use the TriageKit app and related services. If you have questions, email founder@triagekit.space.

1. Summary

  • TriageKit is a macOS app that runs on your computer. It reads your project files locally.
  • TriageKit does not operate a server that receives your source code. The app sends data directly to the AI provider you configure, using your own API key. If you use a local model, nothing is sent to a third party.
  • This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
  • If you use optional Team or Enterprise cloud features, we store the data described in section 4.

2. Information from this website

Early access requests

When you submit the early access form, we receive the information you enter: your name, work email, company or project, team size, tech stack, and any message you write. We use it to respond to your request, to decide how to onboard early access users, and to contact you about TriageKit.

Email

If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and maintain a record of our support conversations.

Technical data

Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested pages) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.

3. The TriageKit app

What stays on your computer

The app reads project directories and compiler logs on your Mac, generates git diffs, and applies patches you approve. Your API keys are used to make requests on your behalf.

What is sent to your AI provider

To analyze your app and propose fixes, the app sends requests directly from your Mac to the AI provider you choose (for example, a major cloud AI provider you hold an API key with). These requests can include simulator screenshots, accessibility tree data, and the file excerpts and context needed to propose a fix. Because you use your own API key, that provider processes this data under your agreement and account settings with them. Please review the provider’s privacy policy and your terms with them. TriageKit does not control how a provider handles API data.

Local models

If you connect a local AI model running on your own computer, TriageKit sends requests to that model and does not send this data to a third-party AI provider. How the local model handles data depends on the software you run.

Report handover

TriageKit can prepare a report of what it found so you can hand it to an AI coding tool such as Claude, Codex or Gemini. TriageKit does not send the report to those tools for you. What you share with them is your choice, and is governed by your agreement with that tool’s provider.

Diagnostics

We do not collect usage telemetry from the app unless we tell you and, where required, ask for your consent.

4. Optional cloud features (Team and Enterprise)

Team and Enterprise plans can include cloud-synced visual test history, shared QA policies, and automated pull-request UI reviews. If your team turns these on, TriageKit stores the data that you choose to sync, which may include screenshots, findings, patch summaries, policy settings, and account and workspace information. This data is visible to members of your workspace and is used only to provide the features. Enterprise customers can ask us about custom retention.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and improve the website and the app.
  • To respond to requests and provide support.
  • To process payments and manage accounts for paid plans.
  • To keep our services secure and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your code or screenshots to train machine-learning models.

6. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run TriageKit. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

  • Website hosting and content delivery.
  • A form-handling service that delivers early access submissions to our email inbox (currently FormSubmit).
  • Email providers, and, for paid plans, a payment processor.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the public.

7. Retention

We keep early access requests and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and manage the early access program, and delete them on request unless we need to keep them for legal reasons. Cloud-synced data on paid plans is kept while your workspace is active and is deleted within a reasonable period after you close it, unless a different retention period is agreed in writing.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email founder@triagekit.space. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. International transfers

TriageKit and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

11. Children

TriageKit is intended for professional software developers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
